Common questions

How long is a two-guest session?

Most interview blocks run 90 minutes including setup and slate checks.

Do you deliver audio files?

Yes—we hand off labeled stems and a master; this site shows covers and notes, not embedded players.

Can you repair a noisy remote take?

Often—send a sample; we quote after hearing the worst minute.

Style-talk before booking?

Recommended for new shows so mic distance and pacing are set once.

Weekend slots?

Saturday by appointment when weekday evenings are full.

How a commission moves

Numbered studio verbs from first measure to handoff.

01. Brief

We lock format, guest count, and target length before the booth opens.

02. Track

Levels are set; takes are labeled; spill notes go on the session sheet.

03. Edit

Breaths, ums, and room tone are shaped; we never replace your voice with a stock bed.

How sessions are shown

Interview desk with two microphones and closed headphones ready for a session

We deliver labeled audio files by secure link after each booking. This page uses still photos and written notes only—no embedded players—so you can review the booth setup before you request a slot.

Materials and pacing

Hosts often arrive with a show format and a question about booth time. We answer with mic distance and gain notes first, then a clear slot length for tracking.

The control room keeps spare pop filters and labeled cables so changeovers stay quiet between guests.

We write down what you chose and what we refused—heavy music beds under speech, crushed limiters, or edits that erase your pacing—so the master matches the brief.

Sessions are paced so the booth air stays fresh. If a slot is full, we offer the next evening window rather than stacking rush edits that thin the voice.

Handoff notes list take numbers, guest names, and where room tone lives on the drive—no broken players on this site, only covers and sentences about the work.

Remote guests need a quiet room and a wired headset when possible. Send a thirty-second sample before the day so we can warn about echo early.

We do not promise chart rankings. We promise labeled takes, patient edit passes, and a reply when your booking form lands.

If you are launching a series, tell us the publish cadence early. Style-talk seats lock mic habits once so later episodes stay consistent.
